Type Locality and Naming

Along the Tym River, Zirabulak-Ziaetdin Mountains. V.S. Korsakov in 1960-1961 (460, p. 170).

Lithology and Thickness

Clay slates, siltstone (aleurolites), sandstones, gravels, conglomerates, dacites and their tuffs, cherts. Thickness 800-900m.

Relationships and Distribution

Lower contact

Lies unconformably on Ordovician, Silurian, and Devonian formations

Upper contact

It is overlain with angular unconformity by the Tepalik Fm.

Regional extent

Zirabulak-Ziaetdin Mountains, basin of the Tym River, Devanasya, Ovhanasya, Mount Terikbaba.
